We need more books for women over 40, where the lead character is neither a victim nor a vixen, but, ultimately, the heroine of her own life. I hope I have accomplished this in a book that will make readers laugh--loud and often.
The characters in this novel are complex and compelling: good and bad, full of contradictions, flaws, virtues, and vulnerabilities. Just like all of us. I hope they become best friends of readers--as they are to me.

I have spent five years working on A Slot Machine Ate My Midlife Crisis. It is my first book, and every moment was a joy and a challenge. I look forward to writing more novels, maybe a sequel?
