Acres of Bitterness is a Native American Historical Fiction Romance Novel. It is my first book and I can't wait for everyone to read the storylines and characters that I have created!  You will be amazed, surprised and shocked all at once.    I created a book for all to enjoy reading and hope to get it out into the reading audience for them to be as anxious to read the next line as I was to write it.

I am a wife, mother and grandmother who finally realized her dream of writing a book, I had encouragement from many people in my life who told me that I could do it.   So, here it is, my finished work and in print for the public to read after eight years of enjoyable labor on it.  

My major influences are all the writers whose works I have read and admired all of my life.  I enjoy reading novels of a Native American nature, they hold my interest to the end.  So, it was not hard for me to choose to write one myself and I loved looking into the lfe of the Nez Perce Indian Tribe of the late 1800's and early 1900's.  Which is the historical portion of the book, it gives an overview of the Nez Perce War with the Army in 1877.  When the Army seized their lands after warring with the Nez Perce and chasing them all the way to Montana and Chief Joseph finally had to give up and surrender to them.
