Background Information

Margret Leigh Powell's six books, written between 1985 and 1999, were published by iUniverse's Writers Club Press between September 2000 and January 2001. All but one - Wind on the Heath - are set in Australia. Though the books are fiction, and the characters do not represent real people, the events related are all based upon and reflect the true mores of the country and period in which they are set.
