William Wright got bored in the private practice of ear surgery and became the doctor at Colorado’s supermax prison. He’s putting the final touches on a memoir of his experiences in that bizarre setting. He’s also written two fiction novels that are not ready for prime time just yet.
He combined his passion for science and mathematics with his love of art to create fantastic abstract art that he produces on aluminum for private and corporate patrons. You can see a sampling of his art at www.WilliamWrightArt.com.
He spends his time away from the keyboard and easel with his wife, Mollie. She’s a children’s portrait artist (www.MolliePlummer.com). Although their art is miles apart, they enjoy skiing at Breckenridge, hiking the trails around Colorado Springs, and rescuing anything with fur. Four cats and two dogs share their home at present, but the numbers fluctuate.
