Susan Well has been volunteering at the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Library and Museum in Northampton, Massachusetts since 2005. Her book, Calvin Coolidge: At Home in Northampton, was published in 2009.
She has been researching her family history since 1994 and taught in secondary schools and adult education programs before a 25-year career in real estate sales and appraisal. Her knowledge of homes and genealogy combined to create this book.
She is on the board of her local Genealogical Society and is co-leader of their United Kingdom Special Interest Group. Well teaches computer genealogy at a senior center and an eight-week Beginners series at a Lifelong Learning Academy.
She has a degree from Cornell University and a master’s in education from Springfield (MA) College.
