Review for The Ominous Undertones (was The Mystifying Tempest): The first thing I noted about The Mystifying Tempest was the immediate jump into action. This is a rare skill that few authors have managed to accomplish doing. Everyone is familiar with books which seem to drag on and on before you really get into any action, where as the author of this work boldly dove right in. Another positive note is the world created by the author. Nothing says "Imaginative Fantasy" like that of a good book with it's own special world. The author has created a world unlike any other, and characters to match. Within a few simple chapters I was able to distinguish and favor my favorite character. The plot is thick and interesting and definitely earns two thumbs up! E.R. Dernhelm 9/11/2011

It's a Science Fiction thriller set on a world similar to Earth. When villains heard rumors of an experimental device developed by Albie Merani and his team that ends up reaching others, far and wide, setting them off on a chain-reaction full of treachery, deceit and corporate espionage. They plan to obtain it by any means necessary.

The Old Man and The Phanton Cat by RW Rivers
My short ghost story about an old man whom finds his dear departed cat has returned for some unknown reason from the dead. Mostly, people of the West End avoided him and his phantom cat, except on Halloween, being afraid of his old cat an old black cat with white on under its chin and white on the front parts of its front paws. However, folks new full-well to stare clear of the phantom cat as they figured he must have help from the devil, or one of his underlings.
