An eclectic writer of literary fiction, crime fiction, historical fiction and memoir.

Background Information

I was born in Birmingham, England, lived in the South East, principally London and Essex. Lived in South Africa for five years in the late 1980's early 1990's.

My major influences are classics of English literature and the writing style of W. Somerset Maugham, whose clear but penetrating style I try to emulate.

Publishing my first book in my 60's.

Additional Information

My most recent publications are At The World's end in paperback, The Book Traveller in paperback and Kindle versions in December 2011, and The Confession of Sandy Harris in both paperback and Kindle versions in November 2011. I also wrote a short story The General Host available in paperback and Kindle versions.
