Hi I'm Ray! I first began to consider writing after moving to Thailand. Writing in the English language became an outlet for me, a way to express myself freely after a day of trying to understand what the hell everyone was saying. I don't consider myself to be a particulary good writer, and I'm still in the process of finding my natural voice.
I have lived in Thailand for almost three years, which isn't a long time, but long enough to start looking for an alternative to teaching. I discovered this website through Morgan McFinn's writings, which I really love by the way. I hope by being here I can make some writer contacts, learn some new skills, and promote my blog Made in Thailand.
Ideally I would like to write works of ficiton about living in Thailand, or some other travel-related things. However, I usually write informative style blog posts. I still find it hard to let my imagination run wild with the ficition stuff.
