Nationally, as well as Internationally known, Ed is a golf professional and instructor. He's set over fifteen course records in his career, made six hole-in-ones, and a double eagle. In 2000 Ed was voted as one of Hawaii’s top teachers in Golf Digest Magazine. He’s is thought of by many as the “Pro’s-Pro,” because he coaches many professionals locally and abroad.

Background Information

In my search for knowledge and understanding, I have sought out numerous instructors. My primary coach is Fred Shoemaker, who owns and operates The School for Extraordinary Golf and authored Extraordinary Golf - The Art of the Possible. His mentors were Michael Murphy, author of Golf in the Kingdom, and Timothy Gallwey, the author of the Inner Game of Golf. Thus, my coaching skills are rooted in this inner approach to the game. I have helped professionals attain their tour cards on the Asian Tour, Canadien Tour, Nationwide Tour, Japan Golf Tours, and the PGA Tour. These players have proven themselves by winning on each tour as they've progressed in their careers. Most notably I helped Dean Wilson, who had the pleasure of playing with Annika Sorenstam at the Bank of America Colonial tournament on the PGA Tour. I've had the pleasure of teaching all over Asia and the Pacific rim. Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Makau, China, Hawaii, Alaska, California, Arizona, and Neveda are among a few of the place I have travelled to teach and play.
