Tracy Brewer was born and raised on the north side of Saint Louis Missouri in what she calls "the heart of the ghetto". She is a single mother of two beautiful children and is the youngest of her four siblings. Tracy also believes with being the youngest she inherited all the smart genes as well.
She began writing at a young age as an outlet to say what she dared not muster aloud in her personal journal of secrets within.. She began writing things such as how her day went, the boys she liked, the girls she disliked, and even wrote about the events of the evening once she returned home as this is where her life took a dark course of its own. She never thought of making her life an open book for all to read so she decided to take a different route in life and began singing.
Tracy began background singing for a local Saint Louis band called Level Ground. She really enjoyed the stage and the fans that followed, but she never really felt complete about things. One day after rehearsal she decided to pick up her journal of secrets within and read through to get some good laughs or at least see how far GOD has brought her, but what she discovered blew her mind. Tracy then allowed her journal to be read by a friend who encouraged her to turn her secrets into a book, play, movie, or something for all to share.
Tracy was apprehensive at first, but after praying, seeking godly counsel and thinking about the ministry of what the book could offer she decided to make the secret journal; along with other life experiences, public for all to read.
What really ignited Tracy B to take action was while watching the Oprah
Winfrey show she viewed a clip that advised it was great to write things
down; your experiences, your hurts, pain, fear, whatever it may be for this aides as a form of counsel.Tracy did just that after confirmation from God that her greatest pain will become her grandest gift.
Tracy is new to the writing game, but she is no amateur. Her new release, Darkness Within Me is the first from her series entitled From the World to the Word .
Tracy is a woman of diversity and creativity. She can speak to all ages from teenagers to senior citizens. Her heart is truly that of a servant and she looks forward to her words serving and possibly delivering you from your own darkness!!
"I'm often asked what my philosophy of life is. I remember never knowing a precise answer; at least nothing that I dare remember a second time around. I guess I always knew my philosophy would change with more wisdom and life's experiences. So now I just go with the flow of the day. I have learned to change my atmosphere so that my environment has no other choice but to surrender. I wish to bring forth LIGHT out of my DARKNESS. I don't know how this is going to happen, but I am FAITHFUL enough to know it will happen."
IF YOU DARE TO BELIEVE, THEN BELIEVE WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT THAT YOUR DREAMS WILL COME TRUE!!!!!
I guess in a sense that's my philosophy (smile)-
However, I will add one more thing to it; it's NOT enough to just dream, you also have to DO THE WORK!
Tracy Brewer's greatest influences are Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Stephanie Perry Moore, Michael Baisden, Mary B Morrison, and GOD (JESUS) author of the Bible (the greatest story ever told)
