Story telling has always been a passion and as a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America, it was only natural that my first book be titled The Emerald Sorceress. In fact, so far, all of my stories have a "jewel" theme running through them. (Hmmmm, I wonder where that came from?)   Of course jewelry plays a major part in my life and when I'm not writing, I can usually be found in my studio designing beautiful new pieces for my "Joie Amour" and "Moon Hawk Creations" jewelry lines.

The Emerald Sorceress is the first book in a series about the magical land of Medora and how a modern girl from Santa Monica copes with being transported to an alternate universe where she learns she is a powerful sorceress. Now, if only she knew how to use these powers . . .

I am currently at work on the next two books in the Medoran series and a light -hearted steampunk adventure.
