A longtime teacher turned Marine Surveyor and Consultant on ships in many various US, CA., SA. Ports. The ports with ocean access offer me a refreshing rerival into nature everyday. It is my goal that children learn from my books and not from over educated and under motivated leaders in politics and the community.
The more I travel the more I experience and it's the experiences I share in hope that a younger generation will see the world as an investment and not resource to be used for wealth. A great hippie pothead once question why we pick all the young plants instead of letting them mature and become a part of the environment. A young drughead said he wanted to get stoned now and buy a new car now. The Hippie responded that the buzz will be weak and quick and a new car is only new until it driven off the lot. Then the Hippie said he had enough to share and still get high until the next growing season and he bough an old car because things that don't break don't need to be fixed. The drughead saw the Hippies lips moving but heard nothing and picked his small plants got stoned to the bejesus for a week and ran out of money and dope. The drughead is now sober with a new car that doesn't run. There is moral to the Hippies words but the drughead was so stoned he didn't know it or where the Hippie lived. I know the moral to the story - DO YOU?
