Beatrice Gerard has taught Elizabethan and Modern English Literature, and published in numerous academic journals. A large part of her academic work and her writing have focused on women's issues. She's the author of an award-wining collection of short stories to be published soon. She lives in Florida with her husband, three cats and an anthropomorphized yellow Lab.
