I'm someone with a vivid imagination! Powerful feelings compel me to pen my thoughts. Fun loving, spiritual, philosophical- that's me!!

Background Information

I have a Masters degree in English literature.As my father was in the Ministry of External Affairs and got transferred to various Indian Embassies abroad, I have had the privilege of being exposed to different cultures.

My mother has been a major influence in inculcating in me my love for language. My sister and my daughters are my honest critiques while my husband is the wind beneath my wings!!

I enjoy reading and writing. It soothes me and gives immense happiness! My stories have been published in magazines and have won prizes for poetry. I have just finished writing a novel which is ready for publishing. My poetry book. too is near completion and hopefully will be published next year.

Accomplishments

I am a Distinguished Member of International Society of Poets.
The International Library of Poetry has awarded me with Editor's choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry.
My poem- Ode to Reality has been published in the book An Ever Growing Wonder and another poem-Night-with shining armour published in the book Best poems and poets of 2012.
