I was born to deaf parents, and since those early years I have had a fixation on being heard. I have written an autobiography in hopes of helping others as other publications have helped me, though if nothing else, I'm fairly certain you will find my history interesting. As a child I was beaten, molested, neglected, and abandoned. I have lived in foster care, I have been homeless on several occasions, and I have made the decision on whether or not to end life support on my deaf, abusive, disabled mother. As much as all this affected me, I am not nearly as angry as people expect me to be. I have finally published my story in part because I still have the aching yearning to be heard, but mostly because it might just be the most important thing I have to offer. I am trying to remain anonymous in hopes of sheltering my family from things they'd rather not talk about, though I hope you'll find that a name is not necessary to admire the marvels of life and existence.
