Lecturer in Animal Care and Veterinary Nursing. I am passionate about animal welfare (but love people too - it is possible!)

Background Information

Been writing on and off for over ten years, but only this year (2012) been brave enough to do something about it.

I have my first book available on Kindle - 'A Dog Like Ralph' inspired by, no less than, 'Ralph' himself and the challenge he has been to us ... in spite of us having thought of ourselves as 'seasoned dog owners'!

I love to read too - autobiographies and books of films. I also love films - my favourites are 'The Lives of Others', Dead Poets' Society, Schindler's List and some good old singalongs - The Sound of Music and Mamma Mia (yes, indeed :)) and many, many more.

I find my influences in the work I do, the people around me and the experiences I've had...
