Lunch lady by day, romance writer by night, M.J. Schiller juggles a seventeen-year-old and fifteen-year-old triplets, a husband of twenty-four years, and the need to escape into a world of make-

I graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with an English Education degree, but as most people these days, I'm no longer working within my degree area. I got out of teaching when a student threatened me and I thought, "This just isn't worth it anymore." I played around as a personnel recruiter, and an office manager for a major jewelry retailer before having kids and staying home. When the triplets went to kindergarten, I thought I'd take a year off, but a posh job landed in my lap and I had to take it. Since that time I have been a lunch lady. I work with kids, (which I love), get to take a nap everyday (which I really love), and have my summers off, (which I really, really love!)
I'm a member of the Romance Writers of Amerca and attend conferences and workshops to improve my writing and learn more about the business of writing.
