Born in Califonia,I lived up and down both coasts,but,mostly the west coast.I'm 52 yrs.old (going on 13),and after 24 intensly good years,my husband died(heart attack)then the lady(Annie)we cared for(we were licensed live-in caregivers),died 12 days later!I'm left with tons of feelings and 'enuf time to tell of it...We have 3 daughters,the oldest(36)was hit by a car at 12 so has had a wheelchair since,and is from my prior marriage,our next two(30 & 28),the oldest a career woman,the youngest a working single mother,and are from his prior marriage.The eldest lives on the Oregon coast,the other two live in eastern Washington.I live in the Seattle suburb-Lynnwood,Wash.Life has thrown me more curves than most,but through the madness and the gladness,I don't cut easily to the raw edges anymore,and I get by with the pen,the pencil,and,the brush...

my biggest achievement is that I'm still alive!After that I have a G.E.D.,then 5 yrs.of full loads at college.I have attained afew certificates,and have a few awards,but they pale in the light of my true achievement-graduating with flying colors from the school of hard-knocks..

Life has constantly coerced me into re-prioitizing what's important and what's not.Just when I think I've really got it 'goin'on',Life throws me a new curve that changes everything I thought was so important.Perhaps by sharing some of my 'stuff',it'll help someone else to get to re-prioritizing(smile)
