Written 15 books. Earned a BS engineering degree from Georgia Tech. Served my country honorably during the Korean War. Flunked tenth grade English. My senior year I took two English classes. It was the longest year of my life. Guess what? I passed both classes. Awarded the best offensive football player my senior year. I played center. You figure it out. The English teacher who flunked me was really surprised when my sister, a science teacher, told her I'd earned an engineering degree from Georgia Tech. I walked the hot sands and became a proud shriner. Becoming a recongnized author is a common problem writers must endure. Hang in there dear soul. J.K. Rowling did: Harry who?
