Becoming the eyes for my blind brother when I was 7 years old taught me how to see the world "In Living Color". I learned to show him colors by taste. The color green was of course the flavor of the lime Froot Loops. Dan influenced me by trusting me to be his eyes. He became my mentor as I learned to describe the world around us as vividly and detailed as I could. My writing continued that learning and I believe that I capture a reader with my words because of this experience and blessing. I am 47 years old and have had two novels published, the first titled Abduction by D.R.Day and the second titled Until Death Do We Meet by Darrel Robert Day Jr.

I have received numorous awards for my poetry. I have cut a C.D. of some of the 100 songs I have written. My novel's Abduction and Until Death Do We Meet have been published and are available at Barnes and Noble and Amazon Books as well as many other books stores on and offline..

I have recently had a signing for my Novel, Until Death Do We Meet. It was nicely successful. As always, I enjoy meeting new faces as well as seeing and hearing from those that have previously purchased my first novel.
