Background Information

Toretha Wright is one of today’s great storytellers. Born in South Carolina, her novels and short stories highlight characters and settings that represent the charm of the south.

She is the author of three novellas, one book of poems, and several plays. She started writing as an inquisitive seven-year old at Aiken Graded Elementary School. Her novels and short stories are set in small towns where her topics capture the southern mystique.
