The only thing certain is that nothing is certain - Pliny the elder

Background Information

Dr. Vlasak has a rare combination of extensive scholastic accomplishment that is balanced by a wide variety of experience in many areas in the fields of science, engineering and physics. He has attended six universities, specializing in electronics, communications, mathematics, oceanography, networks and control systems. He has also taught engineering as a full time professor at a large university. His work background has been primarily in the area of R&D on projects that were both small and very large. He has been described as "eclectic" by his colleagues and considers himself to be a troubleshooter, having solving some very difficult system problems. One of the technical areas in which he has particular interest is that of electrical fields. He has designed antennas and the circuits that drive them and believes that even today physicists do not fully comprehend how electrical fields propagate energy.

He has spent the last twenty years of his career delving into some of the deepest scientific mysteries of the universe and has published three books that reveal his discoveries.

He has written a new book about Planck's original quantum theory that is expected to become a common handbook for scientific investigators.

Additional Information

Our newest book, "Planck's Columbia Lectures" is now available. Planck explained his theory in great detail in a series of lectures in 1908. The lectures were recorded, and this book includes the original unabridged lectures, plus a slightly abridged version that is much easier to understand. Physicists have recently reported that they have found signals moving faster than the speed of light. Dr. Vlasak first published his findings that electrical fields can and do move faster than the speed of light in 1997. This claim was substantiated in another book in 1999, and a technical paper on electromagnetic radiation in a paper that was presented at the 2003 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium. The actual measurements of radiation conform with the theory. The movements of transverse electromagnetic field waves occur in more than two directions and at two different velocities. In spite of the fact that these field waves do not conform with the commonly accepted view of spherical waves the radial velocity is at the accepted speed of light (see the graphics at
