Writing has become the unmasking and the healer of my soul The process of sitting before a blank page and creating a storyline, people with flaws, appetites, and heroism in what journalist might describe as mundane lives, then molding these words into an experience that will influence the reader, this responsiblity to connect and yet entertain, forces me to look deep within, not only myself, but society as a whole. I want my readers to care. To see the words THE END and close the book with regret. To have lived, learned, and enjoyed the ride.

Accomplishments

Achievements include six children and stepchildren who still call or write; neighbors who take time to walk across the yard to visit; friends that support my wierd writing hours and don't call until after 10:00am, and a community that gives me the freedom to follow my heart.
