I became interested in writing while in high school. While in High School I started publishing poetry and short stories in my high school’s literary magazine. After high school, I enrolled in California University of Pennsylvania where I majored in professional writing. While there, I honed my writing skills in hopes of obtaining a job in the field of advertising. After graduation, I was faced with the reality that entry level copywriting jobs were not going to help me pay off the student loans I accrued. So, for the next several years I worked various jobs in retail and professional sales. Each job seemed just a little bit less satisfying than the last. During this time I continued to work on my writing. I came up with several story ideas and began working on several different books. It was also during this time that I got married. Then, one week after returning from my honeymoon a life altering event occurred. I was fired from my sales job. At that point, I decided to try a new career path. I enrolled in The College of New Jersey and obtained a Masters Degree in Teaching. Since 2000, I have been working as a full time teacher. I have taught every grade from Pre-K-12th. I finished my first book in March of '06. It's called: Just Give Me Ten Days. Check it out. It's a good read.
Accomplishments: I just published my first book entitled: Just Give Me Ten Days. I hold a BA in English: Busineess and Commercial Writing. I also hold a Masters Degree in Teaching.
