Background

Sporadically educated at various public institutions I can (to quote Paul Simon) still read the writing on the wall. Shiftless youth, attempted a disciplined life and failed, now old enough to know better. Influences: Harold Robbins, Dashiell Hammet, Jacquelin Suzanne...you know, the great literary figures of our time. Forced to read the "classics", even enjoyed some of them. Like Dickens better than Faulkner, although the two are very similar; still like Hemmingway despite his no longer being considered pc by most university curriculae.
