Bill Tenny-Brittian has been writing books and articles on spirituality for "Real People" for more years than he's willing to admit (but it's well over a decade). He is passionate about helping real people make a connection with the Divine that is real for their real lives. Bill is ADHD, so he made sure his book Prayer for People Who Can't Sit Still would give people who can't sit still (or would rather not sit still) a way to pray. Bill is also a rather busy person - a man of many hats, so to speak - so he wrote High Voltage Spirituality to help make it possible for busy people to experience a powerful spiritual life. As a pastor, he is aware that the North American Church isn't doing the job, so he wrote House Church Manual to encourage real people to stop going to church and start being the church - right in their own homes.
Bill is a pastor of a house church and the leader and mentor of a house church network that stretches from the Puget Sound to the Mid-West and beyond. He is on the faculty at Bakke Graduate University in Seattle where he teaches academic writing and research. He has degrees in theology, divinity, and a doctorate from the Northwest Graduate School on the house church movement in North America.
Bill is married to the Rev. Dr. Kris Tenny-Brittian, of whom he is eminently proud. They have five children and five grandchildren. The Tenny-Brittians live in Renton, Washington - a Sunny Seattle Suburb.
