Born in London. Lived there thoughout WW2.Now live in Hertfordshire. Married for over 53 years (To the same lady) Four children, eight grandchildren. Career achievement, Director of National Newspapers and Magazines. Was much involved with politics both national and local, served a term as a councillor in my home town. Hobbies include: Genealogy, philately, writing short stories and children's books, and travel.I have recently begun to record observations on more political and cultutal matters.      

My First novel "Blackmore's Treasure" chosen by the UK editor of the Historical Novel Society as her "Editor's Choice" for May 2012 and awarded 5* on Amazon by several readers.

I have written four children's novels over 40,000 words many short stories on a variety of subjects, some satirical comment, a number of poems and am currently writing a history of my family which I have traced back to 1537. Last Autumn I published my first children's novel "Blackmore's Treasure" and my second book "Monstrous Myths & Fabulous Fables" has followed. Both are listed on Amazon and all the bookshop sites. Even now I can still hardly believe it. In addition one of my short stories has been published in 'America's Best Small Gardening Magazine' GreenPrints. It's been quite a year.
