I have been writing stories since I could hold a pen in my hands. I wrote my first book at age 6. It was called "The Dog Who Married a Woman." I'm sure if I still had it, it would be as big as The DaVinci Code! It's fortunate that my next several books did NOT get published as they were pretty bad. But now I've created two different science fiction worlds that I love to explore-- and that's what writing is all about, exploring new ideas and worlds.

I wrote the school song for my elementary school. "We have the best school in the world; our colors are blue and gold!"

I'll be at GenCon in Indianapolis in August 2006, signing copies of my two new releases, Merari and The Dreamer's Way.
