I served 20 years in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. My specialty was Cardio-Pulmonary Technology. I served aboard ship, in hospitals, teaching, and in recruiting Medical Professionals.
I was the first Navy Master Training Specialist, Director of The Cardio-Pulmonary School, and Director of The Encephalography School at Bethesda, Maryland.
I recruited Medical Professionals at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and was the first enlisted Instructor for Medical Programs and National Field Trainer for the Navy Recruiting Command in Pensacola, Fl.
In 20 years of Naval service, I was the Sailor of the Year or Recruiter of the Year 15 years. I received numerous medals, commendations, and acolades. I developed and implemented several medical training and educational programs, developed training manuals, taught at the University of South Carolina, Respiratory Therapy School, in Charleston, S.C. and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management.
Since retiring from the Navy in 1995, I have been the Vice President of Horizon Sunrooms and Spas, Inc. in Pensacola, Fl.
