Ever since I was seven years old, I wanted to be a writer. Life took me in other directions. I was a professional nurse and in the medical field for almost twenty years. I went through the most devastating and destructive period of my life ten years ago trying to get away from my abusive husband. It was so horrible, I was communing with God at the end and built an altar for battered women and children in my bedroom. I lost everything, my career, my beautiful home, custody of my child, my mind. My divorce cost me everything and I lost everything but my life. My book, Supreme Love is an amazing account of that tragedy.

I was given many certificates when I was a nurse. I graduated in the top 5% of my nursing class. I was even once invited to join Mensa. I have no accomplishments now and for the last several years have only earned around $2,000 a year.

My biggest hope is to start a ministry for battered women and children from the proceeds of my book. My story is so unusual and vivid, that I dream to see it become a movie someday. I have already started writing the screenplay.
