I worked for several years as a Retail Store Manager and then as a Marketing Director. The experience that I gained in both my careers, instilled in me that special drive to reach my goals and to never give up.

I have also branched out into the world of photography/mixed media photography and abstract digital art and ranked #4 in Mixed Media Photography at Fan Art Review in 2008.

     

I have received several awards for my poetry from 1989 to present and continue to write. I have recently completed a collection of poems and reflective writings entitled "Visions of Apercu" which I co-authored with my youngest daughter. It will be published by Publish America in 2004, as well as, "Echoes of the Heart" which will be released summer 2004 also.

Among the many awards I have received for poetry, my most recent achievement of the Prometheus Muse of Fire Trophy and the 2001 Poet of the Year Medallion,awarded Sept 2001, was my proudest moment. My poem "Light of Truth" was released on "The Sound of Poetry" on compact disc and cassette tape, featured with 32 other poets. Beautiful baroque music forms the background to the spoken words. In retail and online book and music sellers recorded by the International Library of Poetry. Through my faith in the Lord, in March of 2005, I studied for and passed my Real Estate Licensing Exam. This came after years of not being able to work. I am now going on my fourth year and love being able to help clients find that perfect home.
