So Happy to see that you found my place in the Author's Den! Come on in, and sit a spell. You might find someting interesting. You never can tell, (rhyme purely unintentional).
So, Here is a little bit about me. I am Hawaiian and Cherokee Indian. A native Southern California Girl. I cherish the outdoors. The Ocean. The Mountains. The Sky. I like to live each day as if it was my last, and I am grateful for each and every one.
I love to tell stories. This started after I discovered the ability to read. I sat spellbound, for hours on end absorbed in stories. My desire is to create the same enchantment for others. My focus, for now, is on children. I would like to help, even in a small way, other children discover the enjoyment in reading that I had as a child. And, even if I can help only one, to me, that would be SUCCESS!
Currently I am working on a historical/fantasy novel for middle grade kids. The history of Los Angeles, experienced through an 11 year old latino boy that travels through time.
