Wife, mom, author and entrepreneur. In November 2004, I co-authored a book on entrepreneurship and won the Reader's & Editor's Choice Awards. In February of 2006, I put the book into practice and turned my hobby into my business.

Background Information

I write to let go of my innermost thoughts and my most honest feelings. I worked in the corporate world for approximately 15 years. I was a great success trading time for money. But then I saw the light! I now own my own company, work less than 20 hours per week, spend time with the people who mean the most, travel all over the world, give back to the community and help other people do the same. And, here is the real kicker, I make more money than I did working full time as a top manager of a Fortune 100 company! Here is the truth: You are either achieving your dreams or someone elses. I hope you are achieving yours.

I have Masterís Degree in Educational Leadership from Florida International University. I graduated Magna Cum Laude and was the recipient of the College of Education's Academic Excellence Award.

During my tenure as a teacher, I was the recipient of five Citibank Success Fund Grants, a graduate of Leadership Miami and a finalist for the Sallie Mae Beginning Teacher of the Year Award.

My career path includes 13 years of Retail Operations Management, 5 years teaching experience at the elementary and high school levels, and 9 years in Career Services at two major universities.

In November 2004 she co-authored Building a Lemonade Stand is not Just for Kids Anymore: Entrepreneurial Traits and Resources for Developing a Business and was awarded the Editor's Choice and Reader's Choice Award by the publisher.
