In this age of conservative talks sans the walks I find a great relief in simplicity, commonsense and faith.

Background Information

My professional experience covers a wide range of disciplines related to the U.S. space and defense programs. I've worked in various capacities, as a hands-on engineer, as a technical leader in people management, and as a CEO of a small business in developing corporate vision. Besides my career in engineering, I've provided non-judgmental counseling at the Huntsville Helpline. I am very active at the Interfaith Mission Service to promote cross-cultural understanding through interfaith dialogs and interfaith forums. I am an ardent student of Sanaatana Dharma (Eternal Precept, Hinduism came into existence after the visitors from the northwest entered India and called the folks living east of the river Sindhu as Hindus) and have given a myriad of talks on various aspects of his faith as part of cross-cultural understanding to various groups and organizations in the country. My reverence for Bhagavad Geeta and a personal tragedy has motivated him to write, ‘Who are we?’ I was born into a middle class family that moved from the present day Pakistan and established itself in northern India at the partition of India. My parents belonged to two different sects of Hindu faith. They did not enforce their values on us, but they taught us everything by living with love, care and consideration. I've drawn from the ancient Hindu way of life, surrendering to the object of faith in, ‘Who are we?’ that probes and resolves the fundamental question about human existence. The book crosses the boundaries of my faith tradition into the realm of common sense. The process has afforded me the meaning and purpose of life. I believe that simplicity, common sense and faith are all we need to understand life. I've practiced those traits in engineering, science, business and wellbeing. I enjoy walking on beach, cooking vegetarian cuisine, painting, studying and teaching Bhagavad Geeta. I live with his wife in Madison, Alabama. The book touches on several elements of the Hindu faith. With reflections from my life, I’ve addressed three important questions, “Is there rebirth?” from the faith perspective, a hypothesis on “How do we reappear?” from the perspective of science, and “Can we change our destiny?” from the perspective of philosophy.
