I am mostly a blonde with green eyes. You wouldn't guess that I am a black woman. Poetry and fiction are what I like to write most. I am enrolled in the Long Ridge Writers Group to help hone my skills. I love rap and R&B and have convinced myself at age 60 that I can sing.

I won a prize in Writer's Digest magazine for my story, "Red Delicious Apples." My poem "Love talk" appears in an anthology called Inspirations published by the Ilia Press.
