South American born writer and poet Renatta Laundry, embraces life and all it has to offer with a sense of open abandonment while being cognizant of its hiccups. Her formative years were spent in the rural village of Bachelor’s Adventure with a then single mother who nurtured and encouraged her to breathe through life's moments of suffocation. Being an only child for more than a decade, books became her siblings and journals the playground. It is through this kinship that she developed an insatiable passion for the written word. Renatta’s other passions include The Rights of the Child Organization(ROC), music, womens' lives, theater, South America & The caribbean. She currently resides in Brooklyn where she claims to be continuously inspired by life.
