What motivates me? Inspiration breathes in and out of my life daily. How the earth move, the wind blows, and this urgency to love life. I gain knowledge and wisdom from various poets, artists and writers whom I look up to, Sonia Sanchez, Boadiba, Ben Okri, Chris Abani and many others.

Wrapping Thoughts Beneath Emotive Rain is Delaleu's recent published book for sale on Amazon or her website. Poems has previously been published by various poetry sites. She has won the Crystal Senter Brown Poetry Contest in 2006 and she is working on her next poetry book and a novel due out in 2008.
