Background Information

Hi Everyone! I am Gerri Gatlin from Louisiana. My writing has included newspapaer staff writer and columnist. I am currently writing a historical novel from New Orleans and I have two childrens' books in the works. My childrens' books were written for my three grandchildren who are my pride and joy.

In 2004 my life changed forever. I had four strokes and have fought my way back to the living. I struggle everyday with the residue of the strokes and continual vertigo. My thoughts, to write, does not come so easily anymore. I will post articles that I write to grow spiritually. My stories come from my heart and if I can help one person grow then it was all worth the trip.
