Dr. Moises Fleitman Salinas, a Cross Cultural psychologist, has published books about Psychology and Affirmative Action and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Background Information

Dr. Salinas' books try to bring complex psychological issues behind social problems in an engaging, clear manner that an average educated reader can understand. His books are based on the science of psychology, but explained without much jargon and in touch with the human side of social ills.

MOISES FLEITMAN SALINAS is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Central Connecticut State University. The author of a previous Praeger work (The Politics of Stereotype, 2003) Salinas spent part of 2005 and 2006 in the Middle East to conduct interviews and research for this book. His undergraduate degree is from Hebrew University and his PhD in Educational Psychology is from the University of Texas at Austin.
