"Psalm music soothes the mood for thoughts gathered throughout the day. My 'lone time to pray." Ps. 100

Background Information

Agnes B. Levine, was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and has officially released her first book, "Cooling Well Water: A Collection of Work By An African-American Bipolar Woman" (ISBN 13 0-978-9754612-0-4).

Beginning with the bold and gorgeous cover, a beautiful collection of resources, poetry, and prose reveal deep insight into the world of mental illness. Agnes comes forth with much courage and bares her soul deeply about living with an incurable brain disorder known as Bipolar.

From the bone-chilling testimony in The Vanilla Room and a powerful collection of short stories, readers will be inspired from the heart to join in this journey to raise awareness about Bipolar and support those loved ones who have this brain disorder with renewed love and hope. The poetry selections minister those living by faith as God reveals that He is Omnipotent.

This unique collection provides insight and resources for everyone to take the first step towards emotional healing and mental wellness.

By coping and managing the brain disorder with medication and therapies, we find our purpose, peace, and happiness. "Cooling Well Water: A Collection of Work By An African-American Bipolar Woman" will show you how regardless of race, religion, sex, economic status, or disability.

The motivation behind this book is my own humiliation, suffering, and shame learning that I had a brain disorder that was stigmatized. I surrendered to the symptoms of Bipolar because I was in denial, angry, embarrassed, and hopeless that I coud live a normal life again. I felt like I was alone and unwanted by family and friends. My marriage turned into an abusive one. I believed that God had abandoned me. My greatest influence was when I realized God was there all along and I began a new and vigorous personal relationship with Him!

The fruit of that relationship is my gift to you; "Cooling Well Water: A Collection of Work By An African-American Bipolar woman" (ISBN 13 0-978-9754612-0-4).
