A horror writer from mystical Cornwall. What hides among the shadows of our minds....what lurks in our dreams...

Background Information

I have been writing since I left school and I have always held an interest in the supernatural and horror. I think my biggest influences were and are, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, James Herbert and HP Lovecraft. I also enjoy reading Oscar Wilde, Thomas Hardy, Alex Cava and Nicci French. I love the written word and all types of literature. Words have so much power and take us to places that only our dreams have the power to take us.

Remember friend, as you pass by.
As you are now, so once was I.
As I am now, you soon shall be.
So, prepare for death, and follow me.

The devil has the power to assume
a pleasing shape.     Shakespeare.

Writing is easy: All you have to do is sit staring at a blank sheet of paper until drops of blood form on your forehead.
Gene Fowler.

The role of a writer is not to say what we all can say but what we are unable to say- Anais Nin.

I have had several short stories published in women's magazines and in the Isthmas anthology of short stories and poetry. I have won their monthly competition twice. I also have two stories currently on the Spinetinglers website and I am in the process of completing my first horror novel, 'The First Evil', which I hope will be published at some point in the near future.

Additional Information

I have recently aquired an agent who I am hoping will sell my horror novel,' The First Evil'. As of present, I am still playing the waiting game but hope burns bright and maybe someday I will see my book in print.
