I began writing at an early age; my family were all big readers and I discovered in kindergarten that those funny little squiggles teacher made on the blackboard were letters, and letters made words, and words made sentences, and sentences made stories. My father was an army officer and we were stationed in many isolated posts all over the world and I turned to writing to entertain myself. After I married and had children, my writing was postponed until my divorce in 1982. I ressurected an old manuscript and had it published as Sabbath's Room, a supernatural mystery. After that, I wrote Once a Brat about my experiences as a military brat during the Cold War years immediately after WWII, and after I contracted lupus, I wrote about that as Diagnosis; Lupus: The Intimate Journal of a Lupus Patient. I am currently working on several novels in various stages of completion. My next novel, The Women of Camp Sobingo, has been released as an ebook by Mardi Gras Publishing. http://www.mardigraspublishing.com.womenofcampbobingo.html/
