I've been writing most of my life but only working at the craft for about ten years. Most of that time has been spent studying English literature and creative writing.

I admire the fearless stories of Tom Robbins and aspire to the lyrical prose of Alistair MacLeod. I've found my voice in offbeat characters, but still play with more eloquent language.

Nor do I restrict myself to a single form of expression. I am equal parts poet, fiction writer, and essayist.
