I have no background in the literary arts but simply a driving force within me to tell a story. To relay details of a life that people cannot know unless they have actually lived in the outback. My mother was a hobby writer and I had no inclination at all, to write, until after her death. I feel that I am only completing the work she began. In fact, through my writing, I often feel that I am only doing the typing while they are her words that appear on the page. It is a surreal experience for me, to read the words that I believe she has written through my hands.

I am a published author in my own right, a ghostwriter, an editor and a mentor to aspiring writers. At the drop of a hat, and on almost any subject I write articles that are readily accepted for publication. I have either won or placed favourably in numerous short story writing contests though my penchant is for much longer work. I find it hard to condense my thoughts into anything less than 65,000 words!

I am a strong believer in promoting Australian authors and as such, co-run a site which does just that. AussieAuthors.com is my most recent baby aimed solely at Aussie author promotion and from the amount of use it gets, it appears that other authors feel the same. We are at a population density disadvantage in Australia and it's about time we, the authors, did something about that. Not the population (chuckle) but the promotional disadvantage!
