Deb Landry is the author of the bestselling, award winning children's book, Sticks Stones and Stumped and a Coach-Parenting™ certified coach specializing in social behavioral issues and awareness.
A mother of four and grandmother of three, Deb spent 21 years in healthcare administration. Even as a young child, her purpose has always centered on social awareness issues. From this passion, she founded Crossroads, a non profit after school organization that empowers youth and teens through the performing arts.
Deb has authored several interactive children's mentoring plays on social awareness behaviors and co-authored the Maine State Best Practices in Bullying and Harassment Prevention Manual. She also co-authored, directed the educational drug awareness film Ty.
She passionately shares her expertise with children, teens, teachers and parents around the country through lectures, workshops, books, author visits, and her parent coaching practice. With recognition and several awards for her work in community service, she has been featured in television, radio, and several publications including Raising Maine, USA Weekly, Child, Seventeen Magazine and Women’s Day Magazine as a youth activist, author and parenting coach.
Recently released in 2008 is her new book, Yankee Go Home, a children's book and play about safe places, caring adults and a safe school/after school curriculum, written with R.C. D'Antona, Ed.D and Meline Kevorkian,Ed.D.
