Brandon D. Christopher is an author, journalist, and freelance copywriter living in Portland, OR.

Background Information

Brandon Christopher divides his time between Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR, but prefers to pretend they are both Paris in the 1920s. He has survived 82 jobs at last count, but writing is the only occupation that has ever mattered. Before he raised the flag of The Job Pirate with Bleeding Heart Publications, he wrote the novels Nightville and Dirty Little Altar Boy, as well as published several short stories, articles and essays. Christopher has written and produced TV documentaries and celebrity biographies, served as associate editor for the nationís largest adult menís magazine, and he completed a 3-hour class at the Learning Annex to become a private investigator.††

Additional Information

From the porn magazine to the moving truck to the dark sewers of California, Brandon Christopherís newest novel, The Job Pirate, is a humorous journey inside the American job market. It's not only absurd, but also full of wit and profound observations. He steps out from behind the driverís wheel, the cash register, and the office desk to record the lighter and darker sides of humanity in the workplace. The Job Pirate makes even the most mundane job seem fascinating and the most exciting career appear hum-drum and hollow. The Job Pirate strips off the faÁade of the average employee to see what is hidden underneath.
