I was raised in a Catholic conservative family, in the armpit of Michigan known as Midland - or as I call it: Dow Chemical Ville.
Rebelling against this upbringing led me on a personal spiritual journey, as I sought to replace the dogma of the Church with something more meaningful.
The result of this transformation is recorded in my Apocalyptic novel, "The Perception Experiment."
I've read too much, learned too much about this world too soon, and now it's leaking out of me faster than I can write it down.
I am influenced by the writings of Daniel Quinn, Chuck Palahniuk, Phillip K. Dick, George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, Kurt Vonnegut, Doris Lessing, and Mark Z. Danielewski.
I've also been inspired by Adbusters Magazine
