I write fiction. Short stories, sketches, thumbnail ideas scrawled on envelopes and scraps of paper. On occasion, some of these notes bump together with enough force to produce a book. My first novel, the sci-fi action thriller, Tracker, was published in 2003. It was co-authored with John McLean and, much as I'm embarrassed to admit it, took almost six years to write. My most recent work, a fantasy trilogy called The Methridia Chronicles, came together a little quicker; the component novels, Globe Splitter, King of the Moon, and Wizard at the Gate, taking less than four months to complete. Go figure.

Tracker was selected as a best new novel of 2003 by the San Diego Book Awards Association and honored by the San Diego Public Library, as well.

Most of my day to day photographic work consists of working with models to develop their portfolios. A hot, sweaty, back-breaking and thankless job, but, hey, somebody's got to do it.
