I'm a first time author and my book is being released mid-June.

Background Information

I have been cooking all of my life - I was inspired to write a cookbook as therapy while recovering from breast cancer. I have three wonderful daughters who urged the writing of this cookbook. They wanted all our special family recipes and traditions preserved for their extended and future families. I got completely lost within the project and was prompted to submit the book to a publisher. Much to my surprise and delight they asked to produce the book. The cook book is called: "The Peasant Gourmet" - Mama's Italian Cookbook and should be released mid-June, 2007.
