I returned to full-time education in my thirties, after many years of overseas travel and various jobs. After gaining a teaching degree and a Ph.D (in English literature, the poetry of John Donne - 1572-1631) I taught at Monash University in Melbourne for six years, Today I organise and teach adult education courses in literature, philosophy and psychology. The main influences on my life have come from the poets, such as Shakespeare, Homer, Ovid, Keats, Blake and D.H. Lawrence. The main motivation for my work is the possibility of creating something permitting communion between souls.
